About Us:
The Classy Parrot was created by its owner after 20 years of parrot ownership; traveling to various parrot clubs/shows, and extensive experience with products by thousands of vendors. We believe it's easy for the average parrot owner to be lost & confused by the myriad of food, toys and products available. (Just like us for many years!)
Our Staff includes the Classy Parrot Mascot; Henny Penny, a Greenwing Macaw, & the official Project Manager, Gringo, an African Grey. Our Going Green program is run by Birdzilla, a Quaker parrot, who gleefully destroys unwanted paper products. We have warehouse personnel, Lady the Collie who herds everyone into submission and SnowFlake, our Persian Cat who oversees the work we all do. And finally, Elise Negrin, our Flock Leader, whom we adore. We are all adopted!
NOTE: WE DO NOT BREED OR SELL PARROTS. IF YOU WANT A PARROT, PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING FROM YOUR LOCAL AREA.

We feel the most successful way to live with our captive parrots is to make it easy on ourselves. When you formulate a daily diet plan using pelleted foods; add variety with vegetables, fruits and other products, You create a plan for success & good health of your parrots. By varying the parrots daily intake, you avoid boredom. Use food as a part of your parrots' enrichment.
It's difficult enough being a captive parrot, and no matter how we care for them, they are still captive. Some fears are removed but there are other fears added by their residence in our homes. Why add to that a poor diet? We chose each manufacturer's product based upon demand, whether the birds 'like' it which means they eat it...the manufacturer's credibility and healthfulness of the product. If we like the product, we will let you know about it. Please ask any questions you may have.
We encourage you to purchase a weight scale to monitor your beloved parrots' health. You can save your parrot's life by measuring its' weight. We encourage you to make comments as that will allow us to grow as your specialty retail place. We sell miscellaneous other products we feel are acceptable companion products to the pellets.
